世界上最大的水力浮动太阳能混合系统

About 660 kilometers east of Thailand's capital Bangkok, a floating solar farm the size of about 70 football fields has begun generating electricity at the Sirindhorn Reservoir. The system's total of 145,000 solar panels harness the power of the sun during the day, while three turbines convert energy from flowing water at night, setting a world record for the largest hydro-floating solar hybrid system.

Mr. Boonyanit Wongrukmit, President of the Electricity Authority of Thailand (EGAT), revealed that the 45 MW water-floating solar hybrid project at the Sirindhorn Dam in Ubon Ratchathani is to enhance the country's power system security. It is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 47,000 tons per year and provide clean energy to help mitigate global warming.
