世界上最大的石刻佛像

乐山大佛，又名凌云大佛，位于四川省乐山市南岷江东岸凌云寺侧。大佛通体高达71米，其中头部高14.7米，耳朵长7米，眼睛长3.3米，脚背宽8.5米，是世界上最大的石刻佛像。 石雕始建于唐玄宗开元元年（公元713年），贞元十九年（公元803年）完工，历时90年。

大佛坐东朝西，面江而坐，“山是一尊佛，佛是一座山”。他面目慈祥和善，眼睛半睁半合，神态安然，双手放于膝上，端坐在山侧。大佛造型稳重大方，比例适度，体积感很强。

The Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as the Lingyun Giant Buddha, is located on the east bank of the Minjiang River in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. The entire Buddha statue is 71 meters high, with a head height of 14.7 meters, ears 7 meters long, eyes 3.3 meters long, and the width of the instep is 8.5 meters, making it the world's largest stone-carved Buddha statue. The stone carving began in the first year of the Tang Dynasty's Kaiyuan reign (713 AD) and was completed in the 19th year of the Zhenyuan reign (803 AD), taking 90 years to complete.

The Giant Buddha faces west and sits on the east bank of the river, "the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain." He has a benevolent and kind expression, with half-opened eyes, a serene expression, and his hands resting on his knees, sitting on the mountain side. The Buddha's shape is dignified and generous, with moderate proportions and a strong sense of volume.
